Wonderful ski getaway spot!
Reviewed by Empty Nesters from TX on 3/7/2012
We enjoyed the cozy condo and were very comfortable. It was just the 2 of us, so we had ample room. It was nicely decorated, and the bed was especially comfy. It did get a little warm at times, but we opened a window for just a bit and it cooled off nicely. Not sure if the heat ever came on, as it was set to 60, and consistently stayed around 70. Cable wasn't working on bedroom TV, but we just watched in the living room, so not really an issue for us, or we would have called. The location so close to the slopes and Village was awesome. This was our 2nd stay at Fraser, and we certainly hope to return! This unit, though, was quite a distance from the elevator. Stairs were near, but lugging heavy ski boots up stairs after a long ski day is quite tiring. All in all, a most enjoyable ski vacation! Thanks for providing for us, especially thanks to Sam and Emily:). We appreciate having the parking pass ready for us in the condo, which saved us the trip into town. And it was nice getting a call the evening we arrived, to make sure all was in order. Kudos!
Manager's Response:
Thanks for the great review! We fixed the cable yesterday so that's all good and in working order now.

The location was great you can walk right across the street to the slope and shops. The king bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in on an out of town trip. Neat place!

We stayed at the Fraser Crossing development. I'm not certain what the environment is like during ski season, but when we were there, it was very laid back and no wild crowds. The weather was beautiful and the condo fantastic. I would recommend this spot during the summer to anyone.
Very relaxing

I (we) really enjoyed the comfort of the condo and it's amenities (hot tub). We took advantage of the dining coupon to Deno's, which had great food. We also used the bike rental coupon, making the stay quite the good value. Hope to come again next year!.

We rented this condo with a Groupon, so the price was very reasonable. Winter Park Lodging Co gave us excellent service! The condo was very nice and clean, and was in a great location. Winter Park had several family friendly events during the few days we were there. We had a wonderful family vacation.

I wasn't aware that there was a village there and all the activites, spa, shops, restaurants we needed. We didn't need to go anywhere else. The condo we stayed in was very comfortable and clean and enjoyed our time there. It was way too short!
Great summer get away!

My boyfriend and I loved this vacation home. It was in such a great location to the village area and especially the hot tub! Being that it was summer during our visit the balcony was a huge hit in the evenings too. Everything we needed to cook was available in the kitchen for us. The room was clean and we really appreciated the extras like the games and Dvds.

Great place to stay. Location was fantastic, a 3 minute walk to the ski lift. Also very clean and everything we expected was delivered. The staff checked on our status before, during, and after our trip, and they were very helpful. We will be back again next year!
Very clean & nice decor
Reviewed by Omaha Lady on 2/21/2011
Condo was very clean & ready to go at check-in. Staff was friendly & helpful with our questions. Expect to pay the $14/night for parking as there really isn't anywhere to park. Short walk to slopes & ski lockers were super convenient! Hot tub right outside was also convenient but loud at night & nobody respected the 11:00 closing time. We didn't have any problems with the heat as described in previous comments. We enjoyed our stay & would stay again!
Manager's Response:
Thanks very much for the review. There is free parking 1/3 mile down the road and then you can take the cabriolet (open gonola) back to the village. You can also unload your car in the parking garage for free if that helps. If you stay again, please call us anytime of night if there is ever noise. We can have security go over immediately and take care of getting people out of the hot tub common area in a jiffy. Glad you enjoyed it and we hope to see you again! Convenient location - late check-in time

Due to bad weather, our plans changed slightly and I called to see if we could check-in early. Property mgmt said they would call when the room was ready, but they never did -- even though the room was cleaned & ready. This unit has a kitchenette - not a full kitchen which we didn't realize when booking. The bed was comfy and the unit was very clean. The Playstation was great for the kids.

Convenient location~walk to slopes

My husband and I enjoyed this condo for an early ski season getaway. The deals we received through Winter Park Lodging Company couldn't be beat, and their customer service was superb! We enjoyed the heated garage, private ski lockers for condo guests, and short walk to the slopes. The condo was nicely appointed. Large, roomy bathroom for the two of us. Would be comfortable even if our two children had been with us. The only negative experiences we had were dealing with the heat and kitchen light. The temperature was comfortable until we used the gas logs. After that, we couldn't cool down the condo for the rest of our stay, even with the porch door open, which made for some restless nights (turning the fan on high helped us sleep better). The kitchen light was finicky and made an annoying buzz when on, and flickered when supposedly turned off. We enjoyed our stay but would maybe try out another unit in Fraser Crossing next time.
Manager's Response:
Thanks for the review. Glad you enjoyed the building and our great customer service. We have fixed the kitchen light so all should be well there now. As for the heat, the building maintenance has adjusted the main boiler so that it isn't so warm and we haven't had any complaints since. We hope you return again for your return renter discount. Thank you, Sarah - owner, Winter Park Lodging Company
Great Time at Fraser Crossing
Reviewed by SkiDiva 5 on 3/11/2010
I had a great stay overall at the Fraser Crossing property. The only issue that I had was in the check in process and inability to get extra towels. The room was great, comfortable, and the ease at getting to the lifts was very good. I'd also like to to extend a thank you to the Winter Park Lodging group! Very professional and thorough.
Manager's Response:
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. If you ever need towels, please just call us. We'll bring you extras anytime. Glad you enjoyed your visit!
Fantastic for a long weekend
Reviewed by Ellen R on 3/10/2010
We came up from Houston for a long weekend and had a great time. Everything was seamless from booking to checkout. The condo unit was great. And the bed was the most comfortable I've seen in rental properties. We had everything we needed. My only complaint was it got a little warm even though there was a wall mounted thermostat. The proximity to the hot tub was a plus for us and very quiet, but I could see how it may be a little noisy during spring break times. The unit was only a short walk to the Zephyr lift and the village. Highly recommended place. WPLC was extremely friendly and very helpful. We will surely be returning.

Very nice and clean. The only problem was the hot tub heating element went out so we had to go over to the other building to use that hot tub. Very nice people and will rent again. Can't go wrong.

This was our first time at Winter Park. Was pleasantly surprised by the condo. Very nice, clean and spacious enough for the two of us. Kitchen had an adequate supply for utensils and it was nice to be able to cook breakfast in the condo. The bathroom was spacious and enjoyed the shower being separate from the tub. The bed was also very comfortable. The ski lifts were just a short walk away. Also enjoyed the ski locker on the lower level of the condo building. My husband enjoyed the underground parking garage. We would highly recommend this condo when staying in Winter Park.

Perfect spot for a small family. I had a great time with my two sons! The location was awesome! I can't wait for more restaurants to open up across the street. Only bummer was that my son broke his arm on the first day so he had to spend a few days hanging out watching tv and playing PS2. We had a great experience in the Granby ER. I would recommend you put information about it in the condo for other unfortunate souls! We will return!
Shelter from the Storm

My husband and I and some couple friends stayed at Fraser Crossing April 17-19 to celebrate the last weekend of skiing at Winter Park/Mary Jane. We were lucky to have made it in light of the huge blizzard that closed I-70 and Berthoud Pass shortly after our arrival. No worries ... we hunkered down and enjoyed the many amenities Fraser Crossing has to offer, inlcuding slope side accessibility and a gigantic hot tub right outside of our unit. We loved the place and hope to visit again. Only complaint is the central heating system. Whew! We couldn't seem to regulate the temp so the unit was blazing hot even with open windows in the main living space and bedroom.

Fraser Crossing is wonderful. Location across street from Zephur Lift with ski storage on that level--Perfect. Huge hot tub out the door and down 8 steps. Condo was large enough for 4. Fully equipped kitchenette and beautiful bathroom. Working with WPLBO was flawless. The best info and directions we have ever had. Being a travel agent, I rate this property and rental agency #1.
