Reviews of Fraser Crossing 3405 Beginning, middle and end of a perfect long weekend Reviewed by A renter's dream - enjoy it! on 10/6/2011 Check in was a breeze, with friendly service and clear instructions on how to get to our condo and parking.
Condo is within walking distance of very nice hiking and biking trails (and the base lift when/if you come to ski) and a stone's throw drive from the town. We were there off season, so all the shops in the resort itself weren't open - Starbucks and another coffee shop were - but that wasn't important to us. And, as I mentioned, the drive into Winter Park is just minutes away from where we stayed. There you'll find plenty of restaurants and shops.
The condo is immaculate - not a speck of dust or dirt, the carpet was in great shape (not shredded or dirty). Nicely decorated and comfortable. The evenings were cool, so we even tested the gas fireplace. Our condo overlooked the shared courtyard. Be sure to open the blinds to let lots of sunshine in. A nice balcony with chairs to relax with a cup of coffee, big screen TV that works, ironing board, hair dryer.
The condo has a kitchenette, which we knew when we arranged to stay there. That means not a full-sized refrigerator, so if you're stocking up and planning on filling with food - keep that in mind. We only needed a small fridge for some soft drinks, fruit and juice. We ate out in the evenings.
The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glassware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, dish soap, dishwasher powder; you name it! Toaster, coffee maker, all there.
And not only is the unit clean and neat, the building and lobby are well kept, with key entry, as is the garage if you park in it (free in the summer; otherwise, $14 per day).
Shared laundry room, snack/ice machine on 3rd floor, hot tubs, outdoor grills in a courtyard.
There's more than enough room in the condo for two people (not sure what the maximum is). It's a one bedroom, king-sized bed.
This was our first stay, and we "tested" it using a Groupon. We'll go back at regular rates. It's worth it. Manager's Response: Thank you for taking the time to give such an extensive and helpful review FC 3405. We are thrilled to hear that it was clean as a whistle (that's our goal!), We look forward to hosting you again and again.
Thank you again,
