Sleeping Arrangements: Sleeps up to 14. Lower level: first two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Main level: Master bedroom with King bed and fourth bedroom with a queen and a twin bunk bed. Upper level: fifth bedroom with two sets of bunks.

Had a wonderful time at Vasquez Retreat. The house was located just a few blocks from the main street in Winter Park and was easy and convenient to get to the slopes. The house itself was huge and worked well for the 15 people (4 families) that stayed there. The open concept on the main floor provided enough space without feeling crowded. The house was furnished very nice(other than a little dust.) There was adequate parking and a beautiful grove of trees behind the house. Downfalls - the basement heat was not well regulated! It was freezing!! during the day and then became very warm during the night. The basement bathroom was beautiful but the cold made it hard to use! They did provide space heaters for the two bedrooms downstairs and gave instructions to leave the bedroom doors shut but it was not enough to warm up the bedrooms during the day. Also, the stairs leading to the top upstairs loft (4 twin beds)were fine for teenagers but the steepness of them would make it difficult for older people and/or young children. The ice machine was not working and the hottub seemed to overheat but we never called for service so can't really complain. Winter Park Lodging is great to work with and I'm sure they would have addressed our issues if they could.

My family loves Colorado and the Fraser valley area. Vasquez Retreat is a beautiful home and was the perfect place for 12 of us to stay. Plenty of room, wireless internet, and a full kitchen. It is not great for very young children as there is lots of steps up and down the four levels.

It was a fabulous place to stay!

The place was beautiful and accommodated us well, nicely situated close to town but off the beaten track and trails outside the door. We had a few mechanical issues but the lodging company took care of them immediately, very responsive. The only negative is that it is very close to the train tracks and the train whistle blows about every two hours all day and night. But we decided, that with ear plugs, we would stay at this place again because all the other positives outweigh that.

We're happy to hear you all enjoyed your stay and want to come back to Vasquez Retreat. As of August 2012, the railroad and town of Winter Park successfully established a "Train Quiet Zone" that prevents the trains whistle blowing in this area. It is much quieter now and there is no need for earplugs on your next stay. We hope to see you again in the near future!

The location of the home was great, private, but still close to grocery, rest. shopping. The home had everything we needed and was great for the kids to play in upstairs while adults enjoyed den area. The service was great. On the first day we realized we didn't have a blow dryer...we called rental company and had a dryer delivered to our door within 16 mins. from call. They were very helpful with all sorts of occomodations if we needed anything.

Vasquez was perfect for our group of 9 adults for a long weekend. Lots of space to hang out and relax. Convenient to town and the resort. The owners have clearly done a great job with the renovations. The setting is fantastic, surrounded by woods and nicely separated from other houses.Only four stars because the bedrooms are spread across 4 floors, and there are only 3 bathrooms to go with sleeping area for about 15. Regardless, highly recommended for a big group!

We came for a weekend ski trip with the kids. We had plenty of room and beautiful accommodations. The first morning at breakfast - two moose were right outside our window looking in! What a beautiful sight. Snow every day and the staff cleaned off our deck and drive both days. Winter Park Lodging Company made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen had better pots and pans than I have. They went above and beyond to make our stay terrific. We will definitely come back!

This was a perfect place for us to stay. There were 13 of us and there would have been room for more. This house was just beautiful and it had everything in it that we needed and more. We received wonderful service from the Winterpark Lodge Staff. They were more than willing to answer any question/s we had. The location was just perfect--close to everything! I can't say what we liked the best because everything was perfect. There was nothing about this place that we didn't like. Keep up the good work. We also appreciated the friendliness that the Winterpark Lodge Staff gave us. What a great bunch of people! Thanks for a wonderful time.
