Great place just needs a few updates
Reviewed by Jperez08 on 1/25/2012
This place is great. This was my second time staying at Winter park place 19. I love it here. It has more than enough space for a decent sized group, great location to the slopes and great amenities. I love that I was within walking distance to the slopes which we took advantage of for boarding and grabbing drinks, there is also a chill bar pretty much on the door step. We also took advantage of the new hot tub, very nice, although the first night it was really cold and I had to call maintenance which they came and fixed right away. The only cons I found was many of the doors were hard to completely close especially the front door. It was also a wrestling match trying to lock the front door. Also I think the living room tv needs to be upgraded. It is really small so when I wanted to watch a couple of NFL playoffs game we were better off going to the bar, which I would have rather stayed in the condo and relaxed.
Great spot. As advertised.

Great view of the ski area. Right at the shuttle stop. Community hot tub was the best jacuzzi ever!

Everything was great, including the weather! The shuttle was very convenient and picked us up right outside.
Close and comfortable, just a little noisy for light sleepers

This is a nice unit, comfortable and very close to the slopes, it's just one bus stop to the slopes and a few stops on the return. There are no keys for the ski closet but there is a closet right inside the door that we used. Our kids slept great, but we are light sleepers and the train did wake my husband and I. I would recommend if you are not a light sleeper!
Manager's Response:
Thank you for the review. Yes, a train track does pass thru Winter Park, and sometimes when they blow the horn, you can hear it in the night in the upstairs bedroom. Usually, they keep quiet though - we apologize it woke you up. Sarah, owner, WPLCO
Cozy and relaxing

This was a great find! So close to the base of Winter Park we walked to and from most days, but there is also a quick shuttle just across the street. In addition to the great proximity, the common space hot tub was superb after a long day of skiing and the fireplaces were perfect for cozy nights in. The kitchen was also good for making our own breakfasts and dinners to cut down on costs.
Great two night stay

Had a great stay in Winter Park Place #19. It was within reasonable walking distance of the Village and access to the Zephyr chair to access the whole mountain. Winter Park Lodging company did a great job of taking our reservation and making sure all was OK with check in and the status of the unit. It is not super fancy, with a somewhat 80's style decore. But the beds were good, and everything was very satisfactory. Lodging at a ski resort is always pretty expensive, and this was a very nice value for its location so close to everything.
Awesome Time

Stayed here with some friends for a 3 day weekend. We had an awesome time! The place was very clean and had all of the needed amenities. The best part was the shuttle to the slopes even though it was within walking distance to WP. During the weekend we used both modes and each were convenient. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The only problem was we could not find the key to the storage closet until the last day; it was not placed where it said.
We love it here!

We have been skiing in Winter Park for many years. We used to stay right on the mountain until they went up so in price that we began to look else where and that's how we found Wplc and Winter Park Place. We feel like we are staying in a home away from home here. It is convenient to the slopes and to town. The ladies in the office are the best! So friendly and super helpful! I would recommend this company and these condos to anyone!
Great Location
Reviewed by St. Charles on 3/25/2010
It's not a ski-in ski-out location but it's as close as you can get. The shuttle is right across the street and it drops you right at the lifts. It's about 1/3 to 1/2 mile. Our friends stayed at Frazier Crossing? and they had to walk a while to get to the lifts. They said our condo was more convenient. I'm a light sleeper so I didn't like the train that runs nearby but it didn't seem to bother anyone else. For the price and convenience I would recommend Winter Park Place 19.
A fantastic trip

The overall service we received was amazing - professional, informed, friendly and appropirate. The home is lovely and well kept. The location is perfect for those with or without transport as it's located across the road from the shuttle to the Base (one stop) and is across the road from a very competitive ski rental shop. You can actually walk from the condo to the base within seven minutes (without skis). The Base boasts a number of cafe, restaurants, bars and shops. There is also a creche. I think it's important to say that the condo we stayed in was great for a family (as the Master Suite was exceptionally large and had a jacuzzi) and the other bedroom was small in comparison so not quite appropriate for two people sharing - unless the person who occupies the Master pays more. Any issues we encountered was dealt with swiftly and professionally. We were very pleased with the service, the condo, the location and the fun we had.
Great price, great location

We loved the condo! The place was nice, maybe a little dated in appearance, but it was still great. The location is excellent as well. The only thing maybe that could have been better would be to add another hot tub downstairs as there seemed to be a wait for the one hottub. There is room enough for two tubs and that would be a great idea!
Winter Park Place 19 ROCKS!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Winter Park Place 19. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable with all the kitchen amenities plus! The upstairs bedroom with a fireplace and bathroom with a huge whirlpool tub wwere wonderful. Access to the shuttle to the nearby ski lifts was cnveniently just across the street. Board games, wood for the fireplaces, and spectacular views were great. The only complaint we had was that the beds were too hard, but the linens were fresh, comfortable and warm.
Winter Park Place #19
Reviewed by Silvia on 1/6/2010
The place was great in layout, location, furniture and cost. There were two problems: There was not enough hot water for 4 people taking a shower in the morning. It says that 6 people can sleep at the unit but there is only enough capacity for two people taking an early morning shower. There is not enough hot water for the jacuzzi in the main bathroom, so why bother putting one in. The other problem was the sofa bed. My son tried to sleep there because my daughter took the bed in the second room. It was so uncomfortable that he slept on the floor the rest of the three nights we stayed there.

Winter Park Lodging was fantastic. They were very helpful in finding a pet friendly condo. I had been having trouble with my cell service, Rachel and Amy helped me get all my reservations taken care of by email. They also helped check in early on the day of our arrival, it had been raining all day and without their approval, we would have been stuck in the car for a few hours. The condo rental was clean and comfortable. I was even called upon leaving to see if our stay had been enjoyable. I look forward to working with Winter Park Lodging in the future!

This condo was very comfortable for our weekend stay. The master bedroom is big and one level up from the rest of the condo. Clean, except for the deck and outside patio windows were very dirty. The rental company was very customer service oriented! Good location.

My family (2 adults and 2 kids) had a very nice stay. The condo was very comfortable with everything we needed. The ski area was conveniently close and trips into town were only a few minutes away by car. I would stay there again.
Wonderful Place to stay!

Traditionally we are a ski in-ski out family. When prices sky-rocketed at the Zephyr, we began looking at other ski resorts in other states for a more economical place to vacation. The children were so disappointed that I went back to WP and began searching for another option close to the ski slopes. I found Winter Park Place at wplbo and knew I had found a gem. As it turns out, this was the MOST relaxing trip we've had in over 6 years. I think that being off site had something to do with it, but we were close enough that we still felt a part of the resort. The views of the mountain and ski trails from the balcony at WP Place are amazing! There is a place to eat right next door, a ski rental right across the street...what more do you need? We can't wait to get back to the same place in 2008!
