Awesome!
Reviewed by Kho on 12/8/2011
Our family had a great time in Winter Park staying at this awesome condo. Everything we needed was there and the layout is perfect for one or two families. The master bedroom is huge and takes up the entire second floor. Everything has been remodeled and found it to be an easy commute to the base of Winter Park. This condo is very clean and cozy. Oh and the hot tub is a short walk down the stairs which was a fantastic end to our ski day. We walked and rode the bus several times and found both to be easy. The bus does pick up and drop off right outside the condo. Loved this condo and we will for sure return. The staff is wonderful at this company too. We had just arrived home and they called to make sure our stay was great and see if we had any questions or concerns. Great follow up. I am a customer for life.
Great Stay!

This property was in a very good location - 5 minute walk to the base of Winter Park mountain and all the great skiing, shopping and restaurants that can be had. The property itself had all the amenities you'd expect in your own home and was very comfortable and inviting.

This was perfect for us and the price could not have been better. I checked other mountain towns and Winter Park beat them all.
Convenient but noisey.
Reviewed by DRS on 8/20/2011
We found the condo convenient to get to and comfortable. The nightly trains were very noisey and caused sleeping to be difficult. Kitchen was hard to work in due to the placement of items and absent common items(rubber spatulas, bowls to mix in, and containers to place prepared food). Nicely decorated.
Manager's Response:
Thank you for taking the time to review the condo. We apologize that the train noise bothered you in the night. We have had reports over the last month that trains are honking more than they used to. We've reported it to the town of Winter Park, as they are supposed to refrain from honking in the night. In the past, this has not been a problem, so we are hoping that the issue is resolved shortly. In the winter, the snow muffles most of all the train noise - a funny phenomenon but true. We apologize about the kitchen items and have since gone to the condo, and restocked glasses. We also rearranged items so they were easier to find as there were 4 mixing bowls, lots of tuperware, and 2 spatulas. They must have been hiding but now they are easy to find. Come back and stay with us again at any property for 15% off as our return guest. Sarah, owner, WPLC
clean, spacious, but lots of train noise
Reviewed by Rob B. on 8/18/2011
Winter Park Lodging Company employees were very helpful and courteous. The unit was exactly as pictured and described. Clean, spacious, and nicely furnished. The big problem at this location is the train noise. The condo is near the Moffat Tunnel. The trains pass on a nearby ridge and announce their arrival with a series of horn blasts. There were three or four trains every night between 10pm and 5am. What some people might find charming, we found very annoying. We could have slept thru the trains themselves, but it was the horn blasts that kept waking us up. After a few days, we bought earplugs and that helped somewhat. Perhaps this wouldn't be an issue for a very sound sleeper.
Manager's Response:
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm so sorry you experienced trouble sleeping due to the train noise. We have reported it to the Town of Winter Park, as they are not supposed to honk at night, and it seems they have started doing so this summer. In the winter with the doors shut and a lot of snow on the ground, even when the train does honk, it's much more faint. Regardless, I apologize that it was loud for you. We would really have liked to heard about the issue during your stay so we could have called the town sooner and moved you right away. We don't want our guests to have a poor night's sleep! a relaxing mountain vacation
Reviewed by William on 8/17/2011
We enjoyed the primary comfort and floor plan of this condo along with its location in Winter Park. However, the windows are not large enough to offer guests a good view of the mountains and the balcany banaster does not allow a view while sittng. Guest bedroom too small-no dresser. Light bulbs too dim throughout. Management company was extremely helpful booking and checking in.
Manager's Response:
Glad you enjoyed your stay. We will add storage in the guest bedroom. I've stayed in this condo before and I would disagree - the views are incredible from the living room and master bedrooms, but yes, if you sit on a low chair on the balcony, you can't see over the solid wood banister. :) Sarah, owner, WPLC
Great weekend getaway-beautiful setting

The lodging was comfortable and in a good location. The check-in process and Winter Park Lodging staff were friendly and very helpful with logistics and recomendations of activities around town. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to recycle our trash (cans and newspaper) as no recycling containers were available.

Right from booking the property until we left the whole experience was so professional, friendly, easy and enjoyable. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the services of Winter Park Lodging company and Winter Park Place, especially our Unit 16. All communication with the staff was easy and friendly and efficient, just painless and so clear. From toiletries to a welcome pack with fresh coffee and candy it was a welcoming touch on arrival to the property. Unit 16 was a wonderful base in which to be in the Winter Park area, close proximity to so much yet still with a rural feel beside the river. We loved our stay and enjoyed the facilities of the hot tub and the bar b que and nearby bike trails and we loved the movie selection in the home, thank you Winter Park Lodging company for the recommendations of places and the discounts. 5 Stars all around no doubt.

Nice, roomy condo with convenient bus service (right across street) to Winter Park base. You could walk if you want, but with all the snow, it was easier to ride. Wonderful fire places and comfortable beds. Buses start early in the morning and you can hear them, so if you're not an early riser, beware!

The location of Winter Park Place 16 was great... just a short shuttle ride to the slope. The shuttle stopped just across the street.Loved the master bedroom and bath. The jacuzzi was great after skiing. We tried to use the hottub in the common area, but it wasn't working. Water was luke warm and the jets weren't working.
Manager's Response:
Thank you for writing a review of your stay. We have reported the hot tub issue to the building management and it has been fixed. Hope to see you again soon! Sarah - owner, Winter Park Lodging Company

Large 2nd floor master suite and bath
Reviewed by Mike B. on 9/24/2010
The unit is nice and cozy. The 2nd floor master suite is spacious and it appears the master bathroom was recently upgraded. The bed on the 2nd bedroom was sagging. Balcony is facing the street/ski slope. Nicely located close to Winter Park Resort. This is minor, but few of the DVD movies can not be played. Also the pantry could use more spices. Outdoor grill is nice.
Manager's Response:
Thank you for the review. The owners have replaced the 2nd bedroom bed and more spices were added, so all is well now. We look forward to having you back soon!
Awesome experience

We recently traveled to Winter Park for the first time. (Single mom, daughter (21), son (19), family friend (21). The unit was centrally located, within walking distance to the resort. Town was very close drive with a variety of restaurants and shops. We rented mountain bikes nearby and took advantage of riding the single track trails. There was also trails for hiking nearby. We took a trip to Rocky Mountain Park which is 25-30 minutes away. The unit itself was quite comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and stackable washer/dryer. There is no elevator, so be prepared to pull luggage up steps. Only draw back was the hot water which does not last long so showers needed to be planned. The trip was absolutely beautiful; we look forward to returning soon!!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Winter Park 16 is close to everything. The Ski Slopes, town, ski rental, shuttle buses all right there. Would definitely stay there again. Winter Park Lodging did a great job with any issues that came up. The condo was perfect for 6 adults. Only problem was the jacuzzi tub when filled, left no hot water for anyone else in the condo.

My group of 3 guys were in Denver for business and were able to secure a one night stay so we could sneak out for a day on the slopes before our meetings started. The staff we worked with were courteous and tenacious in their follow up making sure that everything was just right for us. When we opened the door and peeked around, we could not believe how lucky we were to have this unit at our disposal. It was beautiful! And homey... 10 minutes after we arrived, they had arranged for ski rental services to come in and have us fitted for equipment. We were blown away. We headed out for a 2 minute car ride into town for a bite to eat, then called it a night so we could be up and out early for our real purpose...GLADE BASHING! Although we needed a rental car to get there anyway, there is a shuttle stop directly across the street from this complex. A perfect location for a quick jaunt to the mountain. We enjoyed a fantastic stay in a beautiful townhome fully outfitted for a brief or extended stay. Including a jacuzzi style bath in the master bedroom! I will most certainly be back the next time I am in the area. Hopefully for an extended stay next time...

We had a lovely time during our recent vacation. Winter Park Place 16 is on the route for the resort shuttle, so once we parked our car we did not use it unless we were going into town. The condo is very nice with good furniture and all the amenities. It was particularly nice to have some staples in the kitchen so we did not have to go buy salt etc. It felt like we were coming to our own place. The staff at the Winter Park Lodging Company was top notch, really that is one of the reasons that our vacation was so nice. The had great recommendations and directions for whatever we wanted or needed. I would stay here again and will recommend this lodging company to friends.

Our family made a decision to go to Winter Park for snowmobiling and skiing. We traveled with our 17 year old son and 26 year old son and his wife. This condo was just perfect for us. It was conveniently located and well equipped. It was comfortable and had all of the amenities we needed. Our only (very minor) complaint was that the master bath does not have a door to make it more private. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and we would stay there again if we go back to Winter Park.

Condo very well stocked with kitchen utensils ect. WiFi service didn't work at first but we were able to fix it with a call to the owner. The jacuzzi didn't work in the master bath. Shuttle bus was very convenient to the ski slopes. We would rent again this unit next time we go to Winter Park.

We stayed at Winter Park Place 16 last winter and just loved it. It is decorated beautifully and we really enjoyed the new kitchen with granite countertops. Very well stocked kitchen as well. Comfortable beds too! Easy to get on the shuttle and you can see the slopes from the condo. The ski rental shop across the street is not great so next time we'll rent skis in town.
Manager's Response:
Thank you for the glowing review, Shirley. We hope you will return again and again!
