Great space and location!

Great access off the Mary Jane Corridor. Large space with plenty of sleeping room and bathrooms. The kitchen was over the top! Very big, well stocked, top of the line appliances and large dining table.Went downtown Winter Park on Saturday and easily made it there via the local free shuttle/bus system.Bonus: 2' of snow over four days!!! Some of the best tree/glade skiing.Winter Park Lodging did a fantastic job with communication, support with Easy Ski (check it out) and overall great customer centric attitude. Thanks WP Lodging for hooking up my group!

Excellent service. Constant communication. Facility was top notch. Snow was epic. The grill tank was empty as we began to cook dinner. Called and within twenty minutes Steve arrived with a replacement propane tank and installation. Very nice and accommodating. Will definitely be back. Thanks again. Pete Caldwell
Beautiful home. Very cozy and convenient

We had 9 people stay in the townhome. It had beautiful finishings. The kitchen was great to cook in. We took the green line to the base of the mountain to ski. The windows let in so much light and beauty. It was nice for the non-skiers to have a place to relax and enjoy the Colorado vistas. The only difficulty was finding transportation in the evening to dinner and back. The Iron Horse has a couple dinning options that we did not know about initially. A bus driver informed us of them.
Magnificant!

Incredible service from Winter Park Lodging from first contact, through our entire stay, and after! Appreciate their team's knowledge and kindness on the phone, over email and in person at their Winter Park office. The office even gave us the scotch tape off their desk when we needed some late one night. The condo is beautiful! Lots of room for our family of 11, including one baby. All the supplies provided to us were perfect, and when it reads that the kitchen is "well stocked", it means very well stocked, large crock pot included. The only kitchen tool we needed that was not available is a cheese grater of some type. The location was super convenient for us; although the ski in and ski out is a gorgeous walk through the woods, getting to the base is a tough workout because part of the "run" is very flat. That matters less though since the bus stop is very, very convenient. We loved our stay and the condo and hope to be back!
Gorgeous Home!!!
Reviewed by The Anderson on 12/12/2013
The home was very warm and welcoming. Very clean and spacious for a group of people. The kitchen is fantastic to cook in except it needs more cooking utensils (had no tongs, spatula etc), needs a couple of large pots, cookie sheets and serving platters. It was difficult to serve a meal on a broiler pan. The other thing was the towels were like sand paper (my 6 year old said they hurt his legs). For such a nice place it really should have nice fluffy towels. Other than that it was a great place and we will come back for sure!!!
Manager's Response:
Thank you for letting us know about the missing items in the kitchen. We bought all of those items this week and now it is fully stocked with tongs, spatula, pots, cookie sheets and serving platters. We also found a few that were hiding and you must not have seen. We made sure they are easily visible. I'm sorry your 6 year old did not like the towels. They are of the highest quality, but we will report that to housekeeping so they look a little closer and take older ones out of rotation. We apologize. Thank you! Sarah, Owner, WPLC
A perfect place for a reunion

Our family rented this unit, Base Camp #456 which is basically the same layout as this one, and a third unit at the Iron Horse Resort across the street. There was a total of 30 people, half were adults and half were children (ages 1-75). We never felt crowded or like we were stepping on each other's toes. The kitchen was really nice and the house is much more spacious than what the pictures show. Winter Park Lodging Company was also really great to work with.
Wow! we fell in love with Winter Park

We had never been to Winter Park before and now we know what we have been missing. The house was so close to the lifts we would (should) have walked but we were just too tired after such a long day of riding fresh soft powder all day. The team at Winter Park Lodging Company were awesome and extremely helpful. They helped us arrange for lift tickets, snowboard rentals and groceries too!! The house was beautiful and very well stocked. The hot bubbly jacuzzi was perfect after a day on the mtn. There were even some beautiful foxes who played on the hillside in back of the house. It was fun to watch them while drinking our morning coffee. Overall this was a wonderful vacation and the house and the management team really made it over the top. Thank you. We will be back again very soon.
Outstanding!!!

Base Camp 450 couldn't have been better. We had a group of H.S. Seniors and dads and this place was perfect. There was plenty of room to eat in when we wanted and it was a great place to relax after we ate out. The laundry was full sized for drying our gear. It was a pretty easy walk to the ski trail, but the shuttle came right by the front door, too. Tons of room in a beautiful home and setting. Winter Park Lodging took fantastic care of us. We would definitely go back.

So comfortable a place to relax in such a beautiful setting. Nice and quite there. Its the best summer vacation rental we've had in Winter Park. We enjoyed it so much I was tempted to book it now for same time next year! We will return and I hope to book BaseCamp #450. I could try to describe what was so special here but the reasons are too numerous. Just "trust me" you'll love it at BaseCamp #450. Thanks Winter Park Lodging Co for your excellant service and properties!!

This was a truly great place for 13 friends to stay. We had plenty of room to both congregate and spread out. The decor is top of the line. Just be prepared for an uphill hike to the ski slope!
Manager's Response:
and if you don't want to hike up the hill, the free shuttle stops right in front and will take you straight to the lifts - no effort required. :) Sarah, owner, Winter Park Lodging Company

This is a lovely home and we very much enjoyed our stay. Went with friends and all of our teens. Lower rooms were great for teens to sleep and hang out. Great kitchen, but could have used a few more pots and pans as we ate all meals in and with our large group it would have made it a little more convenient. Overall experience - excellent!
perfect weekend

our family with teenage friends in tow...we had a fantastic weekend of skiing and relaxing in our beautiful mountain unit. It was cozy and luxurious! The master bed and bath was the best ever...the kitchen was a great place for hanging out together and eating after a long day, the teen age boys had a fantastic man cave to hang out in after a long day on the slopes. The shuttle to WP base was fast and easy and we rented equipment within 100 yards of our unit...easy easy easy! Our only complaint was that the hot tub was itsy bitsy, would be better if it had been full sized. We will go back!

The place was awesome. Very spacious and clean. The hard wood and stone were gorgeous. The garage and driveway were very nice for our two cars. The only drawback we had was the information to get to the Corridor run was not correct; we had to find that on our own. And a larger hot tub would have been nicer.
Awesome place to stay!

Base Camp #450 was a beautiful place to stay. We had 13 of us in our party and there was plenty of room. It was very reasonably priced and worth every penny we paid and then some. The only thing that I would recommend, is to maybe get a few more large pots for cooking. Quite a few of us walked the trail to the slopes. If you are in ski gear, you will definitely be winded by the time you get to the trail run but the walk is beautiful. The other option is the bus service which is free of charge. Picks you up pretty much right outside the door and takes you to the base of Winter Park ski resort. We were very impressed by the people who managed this property. They were there if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who might be traveling to Winter Park. Thanks for an awesome stay! We will definitely be back!

The place was very nice and it was in a great location. The hot tub was small for a place that slept so many people, and there seemed to be a shortage of dishes, pots and pans. If there could have been extra pillows and blankets in each room that would have been great.
Manager's Response:
Thank you for the review. We took your feedback and purchased more dishes, pots and pans. They are all nice, new and of high quality. We hope to have you back soon to enjoy. We also made sure there were plenty of pillows (some extras were hiding in the closets) as well as blankets.

The condo at Base Camp was roomy, luxurious, and well appointed. I would definitely stay in the same location without any reservation whatsoever. We had a minor glitch with the wireless internet and the Lodging Company was prompt in addressing this problem. If I wanted to nit-pick, the hot tub could have been larger as we had 9 people all trying to get into the tub as the lifts closed and it only held 2 people. Also, I would question the designation as a ski-out condo. It is a pretty good uphill hike to the Corridor ski run. The shuttle runs right by the front door and was highly convenient and we did ski in to the complex at the end of the day. I felt as if we got excellent value with this condo and the service provided.

Very comfortable place! We had a great time. The team that handled our reservation, Amy and her colleagues, were very helpful! Thanks. We would have given five stars if it had been a real Ski-in / Ski-out location, like Zephyr, now we had to take the green shuttle. Looking forward to do business again with this team.

house was beautiful, we had no heat in certain areas for a few or more days, the HVAC guy was great, we couldnt use the lower bedroom/tv area for kids due to the cold, they did bring a heater the last night though. We had to leave the garage door open to the house because it was warmer than downstairs
Manager's Response:
Bob, Thank you for writing a review. We have fixed the HVAC system so the downstairs rooms are toasty warm. We hope you will return again. We look forward to hosting you. Sarah & the WPLCO Team

#450 provided a very comfortable environment to spend a week with family and friends. The service provided, from booking to check-out, was responsive and professional. When we had an issue, shortage of bath towels, the response was prompt and friendly. The home was comfortable, well furnished and strategically located for all of our needs. Of minor note, glassware was a bit lacking. The addition of wine glasses and broader selection of daily use glasses may serve the renters better. The ski delivery service was great.....certainly a big time saver and minimized frustration of rental lines!! We will come back and utilize WPLC in procuring our lodging.
Manager's Response:
Thanks for the review. Good news! We have purchased several more wine glasses and regular drinking glasses. Thanks for the tip!
Totally awesome!

This place is absolutely fantastic. Beautiful home and very welcoming. Fireplace in kitchen also displays outside as you are in the hot tub! So close to lifts but easier to catch bus than walk/ski. We so want to return, trying to plot with friends to make it happen.
